Undergraduate Students

Our lab studies the process by which children ages 3-11 learn through everyday experiences. Anyone curious to learn how developmental research works and who enjoys working with children are welcome to apply.
Undergraduate RAs may be working on the following tasks in the lab:
Recruiting and contacting parents via email, inviting children to participate in lab studies
Running studies on Zoom, in lab, or at the museum
Creating surveys/making study stimuli
Coding videos
Working with kids and supervising them in the waiting room
Conducting Literature Reviews
Ideal candidates are attentive to detail, have experience working with children and their families. This is a volunteer only research assistantship with practicum opportunities available. Preference is given to sophomores and juniors, and candidates who are willing to make a two semester commitment to the role. We require a time commitment of 6 hours/week, scheduled in shifts between 9:00am and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
